About the book

The book takes you on a journey through the history of the gang back in 1735, from their first beginnings to their downfall, with the reader being part of the gang. The reader takes the part of William, a friend of Arthur for many years, God fearing and law abiding, now about to take on a path that will see him and his friends take to a darker journey to their end.

Villages and towns folk became their friends as they would pass on cheaper goods to them avoiding taxes. In one village alone they had so much gin that they used to clean their windows with it. but this friendship wasn't to last

On this website you can check out the actual trial notes for Arthur Gray and Thomas Kingsmill, and find out what the gang got up to in those dark days, where the only people that could stop them were too afraid to confront them, leaving it to a small village at breaking point to fight back. Two horrific murders caught the publics attention and turned the people against them till public outcry led the authorities to do something about them, the people turned against them, the authorities caught up with them bringing an end to their reign of terror across the English countryside.
